Wizard of OZ

Okay, So yesterday I brought up something that has been bugging me for a while now, and that is how the Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion felt when Dorothy Left Oz for Kansas.
A movie i watched recently said that Dorothy was a gift and that she taught them all so much blah blah blah... i gues that is true, but i would say that the S.C, T.M and C.L would not have had the motivation themselves to see the Wizard without Dorothy? I dont know.. I've been in a situation of saying good bye to someone, without the garrentee you will ever see them again, and i was sad but hey i have email?!?! S.C, T.M and C.L dont have email in Oz i expect?? Another thing that is bugging me about the Wizard of Oz movie is at the end, Dorothy tells the Scarecrow that she will miss him most of all??? Hmmmm favouritism.. maybe they had a little "fling" on the side that wasnt shown in the movie?? How did the Tinman and Lion feel about this little annoucement..Its not thier fault Dorothy didnt find them first, they just happend to live closer to the emerald city than the scarecrow...they helped Dorothy get home to kansas just as much as the Scarecrow? So answer me this, Why did Dorothy say she would miss the Scarecrow most of all?? In my opinion he WAS the most attractive of the 3??? Hmmmm... the things that make me wonder!

FINALLY ringing Univeristy of Canterbury to finalise my enrolment and pick the papers i wil be studying! FINALLY getting a library card to the local Library. FINALLY starting to get things sorted with my student loan etc. FINALLY im getting the ball rolling on my neew exciting life!

Worst moment of the day:
The angry Librarian:Who i mite add had the BIGGEST FUNKING KANKLES i have ever seen,
She wouldnt let me get a freaking library card untill i proved to her that i lived in the "Selwyn District! What a dick, i think she thought i was the next big "book thief" look for me in the local papers people, she must have thougth i looked dodgy with my blonde hair and blue eyes... hmmm?? Owell, I'll just piss her off by bringing my books back late...Take that BIARCH!

I'm am in a total rut! I need to go back to learning. I'm bored SHIT-LESS and I'm sick of doing nothing productive during the day! I seriously cant wait for UNI to start! Then i can get out of this rut, and actually feel like I'm doing something meaningful with my life! Ahh I hope i haven't forgotten how to learn... Bring on University! Bring on Parties, Education and Meaning!

Death at a Funeral... I'm not normally a BIG fan of British Comedy but this movie was GOOD! What was more entertaining than the movie was the boys sitting next to Sam and I, who where chucking ice at the chatty girls in front of us, who where so annoying I am going to complain to the manager and squeeze free movie tickets out of him!! (Maw HA HA)

Worth Moment:
The chatty annoying 13 year-old's sitting in front of me at the movies.. oh i am SO glad i am not 13 again! THANK GOD!

Advertising is my future!

My day today has been fairly uneventful, it consisted of mostly babysitting my gorgeous god daughter, who is only 3 years old and she's probably my best friend in the world. Then work.. Work is where i supply beer of all kinds but mostly SPEIGHTS and DB (a bit of advertising) to mostly over 45 year old men, who are either farmers or trades-men. It truly does make my day when there are cricket conferences at Lincoln Uni... which there was today.. hm mm cute boys! And now i am unwinding and getting the images of "Brownie" a drunk local , dancing to Joe Crocker's "You can leave your hat on" (shudder) before going to my nice comfy bed...ahhh bliss!

Being told I was the best bar-maid that had EVER worked at the famous grouse hotel/pub...Now this is probably true, because how many barmaids know exactly was 95% of her patrons drink, their full name and nickname?? And no I'm not a stalker I just enjoy my new job, and i made it my mission to be the best! The locals love that they don't have to ask for CD or DB (more advertising). The man who told me i was the best was a little drunk, but owe'll, means all the same to me.

Worst moment of the day:
My McChicken burger from MCDONALD'S (advertising) did not have enough mayonnaise in it..to dry for my liking!

No Day but Today

My beautiful god-daughter Courtney (Age-3) taking off all her clothes, except her pair of gumboots and dancing under the sprinkler in the front yard, Singing 'It's Raining" and coming back to me every few minutes to give me a 'kips" (kiss) and tell me she loved me, bless her soul! Oh i wish i had the confidence to join her!

Worst moment of the day:
Not being able to text the VERY cute guy I met on Saturday night because I had NO MONEY on my cell phone. Why was i so desperate to text the guy? Well...How many guys do you meet who can get me into a nightclub, without waiting in line! (Very "the hills"), and then buy me a drink, and picks my favourite one without even ASKING. I'm not sure how he got this "Christchurch celeb status" but I liked it!
